Description
A native of San Jose, California, Dr. Munro completed her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at the University of California, Davis. She earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Dr. Munro then moved to Colorado where she completed a Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver and an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado in Aurora. Dr. Munro’s clinical interests include providing addiction medicine in the primary care setting including buprenorphine. “It’s a privilege to partner with my patients. I hope to meet my patients exactly where they are at, to create a trusting, non-judgmental space, where education and relationship-building are the cornerstones of healthcare.” When not working you can find Dr. Munro hiking with her trusted pup, Sushi, exploring a city neighborhood, or sipping coffee over a great new book.
